This is a common topic for the students who are in the phase in which they are going to face the actual challenges and responsibilities that will be coming in the upcoming time of their life. Students, have different mindsets some want to get an average placement and want to settle down at that average salary while some want to get placed at the product based companies at a considerable salary, and some of them don't want to seek a job they want to make jobs So what is the actual difference between a job and a startup? What students should do to fulfill their expectations?
● What is a job and what is a startup?
If someone is using his/her skills consistently to get credentials as well as money with another one's observations then that is used to call a job while if someone is solving a problem by his/ her skills or creating an earning his/her own then that is known as a startup. let's Understand by Example If You're an expert in one skill Then you can be able to grab a good job with a good salary but let's consider if you can able to convert your skill into good business then growth is unlimited and you are free to explore the domain.
● What are the differences and similarities between jobs and startups?
Both for jobs and startups one must have to acquire demanding skills in them without such skills there is a very low probability to grow in the long term. According to a source, approximately about 1 million students graduate from engineering every year so only the skilled get qualified for a job. Startups and jobs both have responsibilities but startups have more responsibility than a job, you can learn a lot of the things related to your field from a company's training while doing the job because the companies want a huge output from you so they used to maintain the better training of their employees while in a startup you have to learn a lot of things not only related to your field but related to the other field also, for example, you are in the way to start a business in IT sector so obviously you have to learn in details about that sector but also you have to learn marketing, business management, etc. Startups have a lot of risks than a job because jobs can give you a consistent salary in any circumstances but this is not the case for startups. Startups are riskier if you don't research your domain and you don't have basic knowledge about the Market Also Startups have huge rewards if you do it correctly. But getting a job in a good well-known company is also Profitable.
● Why startup and why not?
As we know Our society has people having different types of idea arrays. Some of them are ready to risk their lives but some are not. If you have that ability to take risks in your life, especially for youngsters who are ready to take risks in their early 20s so they can surely think about the startup but remember big risks can also lead you to big rewards but if someone wants to move toward the startup only due to this trend startup then it will be a bad decision. Always remember one thing the market is not made to fulfill your luxuries you have to give effort. If you want to solve a problem, if you are more passionate and enthusiastic about entrepreneurship, or if you have a big dream and can fulfill it then you can learn how to start a business and can learn the skills that an actual startup needs. The startup is full of ups and downs if you are not able to face failures or not able to be consistent then the term startup is not made for you this line is a little demotivating but this is the reality, in a startup, you may get an exact output that you want or may not be but if you have to succeed you must be consistent. And is not only about making a profitable business it is about helping people, solving problems, creating employment, and most importantly bringing change to human lives.

If you are not able to take risks in your early 20s then for the rest of your life a good job is the best option for yourself. While doing a job you have stuck with your seat if you want growth you have to give your hundred percent to the company. If you don't want to stick or are not able to stick under anyone's then you can never enjoy the job. One important thing that we can notice is that some of today's business tycoons were doing jobs in one of the past times in their life and in their interviews they openly share their experiences of their job that what exactly they learn while doing the job and some of them have said that if you are doing the job then you are getting the exact experience that how the company is ruining. and another thing is jobs are very repetitive means you have to do nearly the same work every day, but nowadays jobs are also quite difficult to grab if you don't have great skills then it is hard to grab a good job with the higher package.
So, we cannot say that startup is better than a job or that a job is better than a startup. It is the game of mindset and perspective In last our target should be to live happy and peaceful life so take time and decide how you will going to spend your precious remaining life.
